Twi Tutorial

I need to do better with learning Twi.

That's so Rae Rae πŸ™‚

Twi is one of the many local languages spoken in Ghana. Here are some twi words I’ve learnt and the rough translations. They are spelled phonetically and are probably not correct but nobody taught me how to spell them, just how to say them.

Etisenne – hello

Eye – response to etisenne

De-bi – no

Yo/i-yi – yes/ok

Jai – stop

Bra – come

Ko – go

Medase – thank you

Chale – term for friend

Mipacho – please
